Welcome to Gypsy Belle Botanicals, my name is Rachel and I'm the founder, Naturopath, primary developer and formulator behind the scenes here.

I am a qualified Naturopath, Herbalist and a mother of three now adult children. I began my degree in Health Science, Naturopathy when my children were babies and toddlers. I was originally drawn to this profession as I wanted to expand my knowledge on natural health and healing for my own family. My second child was diagnosed with asthma at two years old and was hospitalised on a number of occasions. This broke my heart and I wanted to learn as much as I could to help heal and improve the quality of life for not only him but all three of my children. And so I embarked on what would be a life changing path for myself and my family and I am so grateful that I did and that I can now not only continue to support my own family to be the best most healthy version of themselves but also guide others to be the same!

For many years practiced in my own clinic seeing many patients from all walks of life with varying aspects of dis-ease....It never ceased to amaze me how when given the right circumstances and nutrients the body has the ability to restore balance and heal. 

​​​Plant medicine has always been my first love in practice, the ability for the plants to support the body to heal is truly amazing.

The art of formulation is where I feel joy and flow and this is where I "fell" into skin care formulations.

I have worked with many clients over the years developing treatment plans that addressed healing from the inside out...part of their health plans always included some beautiful topical applications to support the outer work while also supporting from the inside out and together we have seen some amazing healing take place.

I realised during this time that many are disconnected and looking for a quick fix and feel broken....and so my formulations began to evolve as I began to focus in on the emotional aspects of physical healing...using aromatic medicine, flower essences and  positive affirmations, mine and my clients skin care routine became MORE....more than a routine used to fix, hide, control, or change.  Our skin care became integral part of a daily ritual to nourish, soften, enhance and rejuvenate and I wanted to share our formulations with others and so our skincare range was launched.

We are thrilled to be able to offer our foundational formulations for customers to be able to purchase without a consultation. And for those more complex clients we still offer in depth Naturopathic and Herbal Medicine consultations in order to develop a personalised treatment plan and formulations for unique individual needs.

I work with clients of all ages and with a variety of health concerns, however my special area of interest is in womens health, helping women to:

~ achieve radiant and glowing skin and hair without the invasive procedures

~ reclaim their energy and vitality

~ balance hormones

~ improve cognitive function

In addition to these areas of special interest I also work with couples looking to conceive. I love working with both partners to support them through:

~ preconception

~ pregnancy 

~ breastfeeding 

As well as continued support for families wellbeing through childhood and teen years. ​

I love working with my clients to identify the root cause of their dis-ease through thorough case taking and functional testing where appropriate and then creating an individualised protocol to address hormonal imbalances, gut disfunction, nutrient deficiencies, environmental stressors and stress management techniques which will then allow the client to reclaim balance and feel the best version for their season of life.

This is not a 'quick fix....magic bullet' approach but it is something even better! It's a lasting approach that really gets to the root cause and builds a strong foundation of health and wellness which will serve you well into elder years and empower you to take control of your own wellness journey.
